The Lao People’s Democratic Republic is reinforcing its commitment to food safety with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, and the Codex Trust Fund (CTF). Nutrition and dietetics and public health department students at the Bayelsa Medical University in Yenagoa, Nigeria, planned a campaign to improve awareness of better hygiene and food safety practices among street food vendors.
