Mark your calendars! The Global Farmer Field Schools Platform in FAO's Office of Innovation is excited to invite you to the 2025 FFS Innovation Award Pitching Event, where you’ll get the chance to discover 12 innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture. These solutions, ranging from farmer-led initiatives to advancements in the FFS (Farmer Field School) approach, tackle some of the most pressing challenges in food systems today.
This event is about celebrating local solutions that are making a real impact. From climate change to food security, biodiversity, and rural livelihoods, these projects are driving a more sustainable and resilient future for agriculture. Join us to learn directly from the innovators, hear their stories, and explore how their work is making a difference in communities across the globe.

What to expect?
During the event, each of the 12 preselected candidates will share their projects and the progress they’ve made. This is a chance to learn, connect, and be inspired by the creative solutions they’re developing in the field.
We’re also excited to welcome last year’s laureates, who will return to share updates on their projects and highlight how their work has evolved. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see how innovations in the FFS approach continue to grow and make an impact.
