The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation on genetic engineering and biotechnological solutions in support of transforming agrifood systems. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Penn State University have signed a cooperation agreement which will enhance their collaboration on establishing Youth Food Lab North America at Penn State to support young innovators. FAO and the Pan-African Farmers’ Organization (PAFO) have launched the first edition of the Youth Mentorship Programme, a joint pilot initiative designed to empower young African agricultural producers with the skills, knowledge and connections they need to lead inclusive agrifood systems transformation.
